I grew up in the Los Angeles area but have lived all over the country: Nevada, New Mexico, South Carolina, and now Texas. I had a career as a cleric for over three decades, serving in a variety of contexts but always focused on ministries of justice and inclusivity. I have also had experience as a hospice chaplain, director of a nonprofit, and organizer of community projects for Habitat for Humanity.
I am a published author and visual artist, and this site highlights my interests in both fields. In 40 years of writing, I have crafted countless articles and many books. Most of them are freely downloadable at the links above. Currently, I also serve as Fiction Editor for an emerging publishing company called Story Sanctum.
Anyone who has exercised their calling for a lifetime knows that we pass through many incarnations. What I wrote or created visually years ago does not necessarily reflect who I am today, especially with my changing notions of spirituality. However, I’ve left most of the writing here, perhaps as a testament to how one human being can evolve. I refresh the images regularly.
I live in the progressive Texas city of San Antonio with my wife, Donna, and my intellectually disabled adult son, Kristoffer. I have three other children – Pieter, Hanna, and Keenan – all of whom bring me great delight. Blessings to you, and let’s connect through some of these other links.
